Philip Joel Mwesigwa

Philip holds a BSc in Biomedical Laboratory Sciences from the University of Kisubi (Uganda) and an MSc in Biochemistry and Molecular Genetics from the American University of Beirut (AUB). His research experience spans molecular biology, cancer biology, biochemistry, CRISPR-based gene editing, and bioinformatics.

Passionate about understanding how genetic alterations shape disease development and cellular behavior, with particular interests in functional genomics, gene editing, and cancer biology. He enjoys combining wet-lab experiments with computational approaches to answer biological questions.
